Profile: Nadja Eberhardt
My name is Nadja Eberhardt and I am a professional graphic and web designer based in Kingston Surrey, just outside London, UK. With over 10 years previous experience working for various design agencies in the UK, Canada, Switzerland and Bolivia, I now specialise in website design and graphic design and marketing for small business owners and individuals.
Background
I was born in Bern, Switzerland in 1974 and moved to the UK in 1981. I speak fluent Swiss German, German, English and pretty good Spanish.
In 1999 I graduated from Goldsmiths College in South East London with a BA (hons) in Design Studies.
After traveling and working in various countries overseas, I returned to the UK in 2004 and completed a MSc in Development Studies Birkbeck College, University of London, England. (My masters dissertation can be found online here »)

I have traveled extensively within North and South America, Asia and Africa, and enjoy learning new languages. I spent 6 months living and volunteering in Bolivia, where I studied Spanish to an advanced level. While in Tanzania I also learned basic Kiswahili.
For my design and translation work, I work with all major software packages, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Dreamweaver; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel; CAT software for translation.
I live and work in London, UK, but regularly visit Switzerland and the rest of the world.
